    Delicious cheese dip and salsa. This is a good example of a prototypical mid-level Mexican restaurant. Service was good. Please note that several of their dishes have potatoes as an ingredient although it's not mentioned on the menu. In all of the dozens of Mexican restaurants I've eaten in, I've never seen potatoes in any of these dishes. Since I have an allergy to potatoes, this took me by surprise and greatly limited my choices. The waiter defensively stated that they have operated the same way for their 40 or so years in business, but once he understood that I was concerned due to my allergy, he worked with me to find something that I could eat.

    Fast service and reasonable lunch prices, especially for the neighborhood. Food was above average. Nothing unique on the menu but plenty of standard fare to choose from.

    Been going to Jalisco Restaurant for more than ten years. Their chicken soup is the most affordable health care you could ever buy. Delicious and medicine for the soul. Great neighborhood Mexican restaurant that is always jumping with people around lunch and dinner but they now stay open much longer so going off hours is recommended if you want to sit and eat quickly.

    The food was good but the wait staff made us feel like they wanted us to eat and get out. It wasn't busy so I didn't understand the rush to flip the table. I don't hold it against them and will probably go there again in the future.
